Yango Ride, the ride-hailing service from Yango Group, has launched an official app inside ChatGPT. You can now plan a trip in a conversation with the chatbot instead of jumping between apps. The update covers more than 25 countries where Yango operates, from the Middle East and South Asia to Africa and Latin America.
What it does
Inside the chat, you can look at a route and see what it would cost and how long it would take. The company says the price shown is exact, with no hidden fees. Here is what else you can check:
- Travel times across alternative routes
- The trip's estimated arrival time
- When the car will reach you
- Suggested pickup points to cut waiting time
The estimates use live traffic data and update as road conditions change. The booking itself does not happen in ChatGPT. When you are ready, the fare estimate opens in the Yango app or on the Yango website, where you finish the booking.
It works on the ChatGPT website and in the Android and iPhone apps. You can find it in the ChatGPT app store.
What is not known yet
The announcement does not list the countries one by one. It also does not say whether the feature needs a paid ChatGPT plan. Yango Group says it plans to add more services, including delivery, public transport options and food delivery, but it gave no dates.
The takeawayIf you use Yango, you can now compare fares, routes and pickup times in ChatGPT, then finish the booking in the Yango app or on its website.
