You can now make a music video from inside ChatGPT

Enkio, an AI music and music video platform, says you can now make a music video without leaving ChatGPT or Codex. You attach a song and at least one reference image, describe the look you want, and the assistant runs the steps. The company announced the feature on November 5, 2026.

What it does

The feature works through MCP, short for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to outside tools. Here, it connects the chat to Enkio's video tools, so you do not have to bounce between a chat window and a separate video editor.

According to Enkio, the assistant checks your files and account status, measures the song length, then generates the video. Along the way it creates a story, a cover, character designs and a storyboard. Finished videos are saved locally, so you keep a copy.

How it works

• Attach a song and at least one reference image.
• Describe the style, such as a 9:16 cinematic video with a dreamy night mood, neon reflections and slow camera movement.
• Ask for changes by naming a shot and describing the adjustment, which requests a reshoot.

Where to find it

In ChatGPT, the Enkio AI Music Video Agent is available inside the conversation. In Codex, open Plugins, find Enkio, open its plugin page and click Try Now to start a chat with the plugin turned on. After that, the steps are the same in both: write a prompt and attach your files.

What it costs and who it is for

You need an Enkio account. Videos use the same credit balance as the Enkio web app, and there is no separate plugin balance. That means this is not a free extra if the credits are paid.

Enkio says the tool is built for independent musicians, content creators and small teams who already have a song and a visual idea. It points to release teasers, lyric visuals, social clips and full music videos. The song and images should be ones you own or have permission to use.

What is not known yet

The announcement is a company press release, and it does not say how many credits a video uses or what credits cost. It also does not give video length limits, how long a video takes to make, or example results. Those details matter before you try it, so check them in your Enkio account first.
