SpaceX has started a partner program for companies that want to build products and services around its Grok AI model. The program offers training, tools and support. It is called the SpaceX Super Intelligence Partner Network, according to a press release issued Thursday, Oct. 22.
What changed
The network has two kinds of partners. Transformation partners help businesses set up Grok. Marketplace partners build plugins and connections that link Grok to other software. More than 130 launch partners joined, including Bain & Company, Databricks, Nvidia and Snowflake.
Nvidia's Pat Lee said in the release that the two companies will help enterprises build and run AI agents at scale. AI agents are programs that carry out tasks on their own.
Why the timing matters
SpaceX already sells Grok Bot, an AI agent for workplace tasks such as answering emails, updating sales databases and processing invoices. It launched in mid-August. It reached 418,000 weekly users as of Sept. 14, up 24% from the week before.
Rivals are doing similar things. Anthropic and Hg agreed to form a company that places consultants and engineers inside European businesses. OpenAI committed up to $1.5 billion to a private equity venture to sell AI tools to businesses.
What is not known yet
The material does not say what partners will charge or how SpaceX picks and checks them. It also does not say how many customers the program will reach. Business owners who get a Grok pitch can ask for prices in writing and test on one small task first.
The takeawayIf a consultant pitches Grok, compare it with other offers and test on one small task before signing anything larger.
