PartnerOne, a company that buys and runs software businesses, has acquired 3CLogic, which makes software that lets AI answer and route business phone calls. PartnerOne says it will keep supporting 3CLogic's current customers and partners.
What 3CLogic does
3CLogic builds a customer service platform centered on voice. It combines AI voice agents, smart call routing and live human agents. It is meant to work alongside customer relationship management (CRM) and IT service management systems, the tools companies already use to track customers and handle help requests. It does not replace them.
Businesses can use it to automate routine requests, route calls better and give human agents more information on harder calls. It also offers agent coaching and sentiment analysis, which gauges a caller's mood. For business owners, the deal suggests AI phone help is becoming an add-on to customer software, not a separate project.
PartnerOne says more than 2,000 enterprises and government organizations use software from its companies. It describes its approach as long-term ownership: buying established software firms and investing in their growth.
