Samsung says a new foldable phone is coming soon, but it likely won't be sold in most countries, so check your market before you wait.
Samsung has confirmed that its next foldable phone is on the way. The catch is that most people probably will not be able to buy it. According to Android Authority, the phone likely won't be sold in most countries, and that may include yours.
Samsung has made the launch official, and the word from the company is that it is coming soon. A foldable is a phone that opens like a book to reveal a larger screen inside. Samsung is one of the best-known makers of this kind of phone.
The material does not say what the phone is called, what it costs or what it can do. It does not give a release date beyond "soon." It also does not list which countries will get it or which ones will be left out.
Anyone thinking about buying a foldable is the main audience. If you live in a market where the phone is not sold, waiting for it could mean waiting for nothing. Businesses planning to buy phones for staff face the same risk.
Samsung has not yet shared those details in the material available, so more information should follow as the launch gets closer.
Before you wait for Samsung's new foldable, confirm it will actually be sold where you live.
