Oppo has apparently confirmed that its next foldable phone, the Find N7, will go on sale in Europe. That would be a first for an Oppo foldable. The report comes from the site Nixanbal, via GSMArena, and was relayed by 9to5Google. A foldable is a phone that opens like a book into a larger screen.
Why this is a big deal
The last two models, the Find N5 and Find N6, were both called global launches. In practice, they left out Europe and almost every other major market. They were sold mostly in China. That was a shame, because 9to5Google says both raised the bar for foldables in major ways.
Oppo did sell a foldable outside China once. The OnePlus Open arrived in 2023 as Oppo's global foldable, but it lasted only one generation.
What is still unknown
Oppo has not confirmed a release date or prices. The Find N7 is also rumored to use a wider screen shape, similar to the one expected from Samsung and Apple. That is still a rumor.
Oppo usually launches foldables early in the year, so March 2027, give or take, is a reasonable guess. Other regions beyond Europe were not mentioned in the report.
- Confirmed by Oppo, per the report: a Europe release
- Not yet known: date, price and which countries
- Rumored: a wider, Samsung and Apple style shape
The takeawayIf you want an Oppo foldable in Europe, the Find N7 may finally allow it, but wait for official dates and prices.
