Oracle NetSuite says a new AI tool could cut the time it takes to set up its business software from months to weeks, or even days. The tool is called SuiteExpress. The company announced it on October 26 at its SuiteWorld 2026 event in Las Vegas.

What it does

NetSuite makes ERP software. That is a single system that handles things like a company's finances and inventory. Setting one up usually takes months of planning, moving old data over and training staff.

SuiteExpress is meant to take on more of that work. It builds a shared record of your business from meeting notes, documents, spreadsheets, recordings and your existing systems. That record covers how you work, what setup choices you made and what has already been tested.

It then pairs that record with NetSuite's own product and industry knowledge, drawn from more than 44,000 customers. From both, it suggests setup steps and can carry out some tasks. The system also keeps what it learns for later improvements.

Who it is for

The pitch is aimed at businesses outgrowing spreadsheets, separate accounting apps or systems that do not talk to each other. NetSuite's example is a growing retailer moving to one system for money and inventory. Smaller firms with little IT help may feel the benefit most.

NetSuite shared comments from two customers. Worksmith's chief operating officer said the process took far less of his team's time than expected. Amba Health's financial controller said the knowledge stays with the company as it grows.

What is not known yet

  • No pricing has been shared.
  • There is no general release date.
  • There are no detailed speed comparisons or benchmarks.
  • Real results may vary with how complex your business is.

What to keep in mind

People are still involved. NetSuite says consultants stay in the loop, especially for important setup decisions and unusual cases.

The tool is also only as good as the information fed into it. Accurate, reliable data matters. Companies should review what the AI suggests and test key workflows before depending on the new system.

Privacy is worth a question too. You would be handing over documents, recordings and system data, some of it sensitive financial detail. Ask how that information is stored and used before you share it.

The takeaway

If you are considering NetSuite, ask about SuiteExpress, but get pricing and data handling answers and test the setup before you rely on it.
