Joveo, a recruiting software company, has launched AI Interview Intelligence. It gives the interviewer their own AI helper during a live video interview. The company announced it on Nov. 4, 2026, and says it is available now.
What it does
The tool briefs the interviewer before the call, guides them during it, and writes a scorecard when it ends. It works from a company's own competency framework, which is the list of skills and traits that employer wants. It also carries a candidate's story from one interview round to the next. It runs in Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Joveo says the human still runs the conversation and makes the final decision.
Why Joveo says it is needed
Joveo says most interviewers are never trained. Questions vary, get repeated or get missed, and feedback is often written from memory, late or not at all. It also says candidates now bring AI tools, second screens and even stand-ins into remote interviews. Its chief technology officer, Prateek Mishra, said interviewers deserve the same AI help candidates have.
What is not known yet
The announcement does not give a price. It does not say whether candidates are told an AI is in the call, how candidate data is handled, or whether the tool can spot a stand-in or a hidden second screen. Joveo is based in Menlo Park, California, and sells AI hiring tools to large employers and staffing firms.
The takeawayIf you interview or get interviewed, expect more structure and more tracking, with AI possibly in the call on both sides.
