Guardz has added browser protection from Palo Alto Networks to its security platform. The tool is called Prisma Browser for Business. Guardz sells to managed service providers, or MSPs, which are outside IT firms that look after security for small businesses. The announcement was dated November 2, 2026.

What changed

Prisma Browser for Business runs as an extension in Chrome and Edge. If an employee clicks a phishing link, it can block the fake page. Guardz then ties that event to the original email, related Microsoft 365 activity and data from the employee's computer. The IT team sees one incident instead of several separate alerts.

One early-access MSP, Datawise Networks, said the extension reached every Chrome and Edge profile within minutes through its remote management tools.

Rules for AI tools

Guardz also lets technicians set rules for each client on AI tools used in the browser. They can limit copying, pasting, uploading and downloading files, by website or by category of site. A new AI usage report shows each client how much AI tool use is happening.

The announcement does not give pricing or say when the feature will reach all Guardz customers. It also offers no independent test results. The claims come from the companies themselves.

The takeaway

If an outside IT firm protects your business, ask whether it watches browsers and sets rules for how staff use AI tools.
