Apple is bringing its upgraded Siri, called Siri AI, to four more languages. The change comes in iOS 27.3, the next iPhone software update. It is in beta now, which means an early test version for developers and eager users. According to 9to5Mac, it will reach all users next month.

What changed

Siri AI began as an English-only feature. Last week, iOS 27.2 added French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. With four more languages in iOS 27.3, the total reaches 10. 9to5Mac calls it a fairly quick rollout for Apple's overhauled assistant.

The update also adds more actions Siri can take inside apps, a new feature called Siri Recap, and a larger set of tools for developers who want their apps to work with Siri AI.

Who it affects

The main group is people who use Siri in a language other than English. If your language is one of the four new ones, the smarter Siri may arrive on your iPhone with the public update next month.

What is not known yet

  • The material does not list the four new languages, so check Apple's language settings once the update is out.
  • Price and device requirements are not given.
  • Details on what Siri Recap does are not given.

Beta software can have bugs, so most people are better off waiting for the public release.

The takeaway

Siri AI now covers 10 languages in the iOS 27.3 beta, and the public update is expected next month.
