Spotify is testing a separate shelf for your pinned music

Spotify is testing a new way to show the music you pin. Pinned items would move into their own row, called a carousel, apart from the rest of Your Library. The test is on the mobile app, according to Android Authority.

What changed

Pinning lets you keep favorite playlists, albums or podcasts at the top of your library for quick access. Right now, pinned items sit alongside everything else. In the test, they would get a dedicated shelf of their own. A carousel is a row you can swipe sideways. The aim is to make a crowded library easier to use.

Who it affects

The change matters most to people with a long Spotify library. If you follow many playlists, save lots of albums or subscribe to several podcasts, finding your favorites can mean a lot of scrolling. A separate shelf for pins could save some of that effort.

For now, though, this is a test. It is not a feature for everyone, and it may never reach your phone.
