OPPO's Find X10 Pro Max is a top Android phone, but it costs a lot

A new review from Android Authority says OPPO's Find X10 Pro Max may be the best handset ever made. The phone has three 200-megapixel cameras, but the reviewer says that is not the main reason to pay attention. The catch is the price, which the review describes as high.

What the review says

Most coverage of this phone leads with its camera setup. Three cameras at 200 megapixels each is a big number, and it makes for an easy headline. Android Authority argues the phone is more than that. Its verdict is that the Find X10 Pro Max is the ultimate Android flagship, a term for a company's top-of-the-line phone.

What is not known yet

The material available does not include the exact price, a release date, or which countries will get the phone. It also does not say how the phone performs in battery life, speed or everyday photos. Those details would help a buyer decide, so they are worth checking before any purchase.

Who it is for

A phone at this level is aimed at people who want the most advanced Android hardware and are willing to pay for it. For everyone else, the question is simpler. Do you use the extras enough to justify the cost?

• Check the final price and where it will be sold.
• Compare it with cheaper Android phones you already like.
• Think about which features you would use every day.
