Monte Carlo Launches an AI Helper That Fixes Other AI Programs

Monte Carlo launched Bayes, an AI tool that watches other AI programs and the data behind them, and fixes problems. Companies choose how much it does alone.

Monte Carlo, a company that helps businesses keep their AI programs reliable, launched a tool called Bayes on Oct. 28, 2026. Bayes is an AI teammate that spots problems in other AI programs, works out what went wrong, and fixes it. Companies decide how much it handles without a human.

What changed

Many companies now run AI agents, which are programs that carry out tasks on their own. Keeping them accurate takes constant checking. Monte Carlo says a typical AI engineer can keep only one to three agents and a handful of critical data pipelines under real watch. Pipelines are the routes data travels to reach those programs.

Bayes is meant to take on that checking. It learns how a customer's data and AI systems fit together, sets up monitoring, and sorts out alerts. It looks at what agents produce, the decisions they make, the information they pull in, and the data feeding them.

Why companies are worried

The release cites two surveys. In a Deloitte survey, 70% of leaders said they don't feel they can trust and govern their agents. A 2026 Sinch study found that 74% of enterprises had rolled back or shut down a customer-facing AI agent after launching it.

An Axios data scientist, quoted in the release, described the risk. If the data fed to an agent is wrong, or the agent answers without checking the database, the results will not be what the company needs.

How much control customers keep

Monte Carlo compares Bayes to a new hire who takes on what you are ready to hand over. The range runs across three levels:

  • A single task, such as troubleshooting one alert
  • A standing job to set up monitoring and sort alerts
  • Fixing problems in the background

Bayes works inside Monte Carlo's platform, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and through MCP, a standard way for AI tools to connect to each other. It is available now to Monte Carlo customers.

What is not known yet

Monte Carlo says Bayes helps companies find 200% more problems than their in-house systems and raises over 80% fewer false alarms. Those figures come from the company. The release does not say how they were measured or how many customers were included. It also does not give pricing or say whether anyone outside the company has tested the claims.

Monte Carlo says more than 400 enterprises use its platform, including Amazon, PepsiCo, CNN, Nasdaq, and JetBlue. It also says Snowflake named it its 2026 Data & AI Governance Partner of the Year.

The takeaway

Bayes aims to cut the time staff spend babysitting AI agents, but its results are company claims, and each business still sets how much to hand over.
