Moft has made a case for the iPhone Duo, Apple's folding phone, that also works as a stand and a grip. It is called the Dynamic Folio Case. It costs $89.99 and can be preordered on Moft's online store. Shipping is expected to start in mid December.
What it does
The case has an origami-like cover that folds in several ways. It protects the Duo's outer screen from scratches when the phone is in a bag or pocket. Folded one way, it props the phone up in landscape or portrait for hands-free use. A "Lounge Mode" angle is meant for using the phone while lying in bed. Folded another way, it becomes a finger grip, like a PopSockets. The Verge's reporter notes it does not look quite as comfortable to hold as those grips.
How it differs from the cheaper version
Moft first released the Dynamic Folio in early 2025 as an iPad accessory. It also sells a $69.99 Dynamic Folio for the Duo that attaches magnetically to the back, so it comes off easily. The new case clips securely onto the phone. It also covers the back and the front and rear edges. It comes in navy blue or misty cove plus sapphire.
What is not known yet
The material does not say how the case performs in daily use. There are no reviews yet, and the shipping date is only an estimate. Anyone preordering is paying for the extra protection and the clip-on fit.
The takeawayThe $89.99 Moft case clips onto the iPhone Duo and doubles as a stand and grip, but it has not been reviewed and shipping is only expected in mid December.
