HIX AI has launched Workspace 2.0, an update that turns its AI assistant into a shared workspace for individual professionals and small teams of up to five people. The company announced it on October 27, 2026, and says it is available now. The pitch is simple: less time on reports, social posts and slide formatting.
What changed
Until now, HIX AI was a general-purpose AI agent, meaning a tool that does tasks for you when asked. Workspace 2.0 adds a shared project space. Instructions, files, notes and past work stay in one place, so the AI remembers context over time instead of starting fresh each session.
Users can also upload a brand kit, which holds a company's visual style and tone of voice. HIX AI then applies it to presentations, images, videos and documents. Every output stays editable, so a change does not require generating the asset again.
Connected apps and scheduled tasks
The workspace connects to several tools many small businesses already use:
- Google and Microsoft calendars, email and cloud storage
- Zoom and Notion
- Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
With scheduled tasks, HIX AI can draft weekly reports from data in connected apps, follow up on meeting action items and publish to social channels. It can also use engagement data from connected social accounts to shape later content.
Marketing and slides
The update adds task-specific skills to HIX AI's image and video tools. These cover video ads, short social clips, faceless videos, brand stories, posters, product ads, e-commerce visuals and infographics. HIX AI Slides 2.0 is also available. The release says it supports four presentation workflows but does not list them.
What is not known yet
The announcement does not mention pricing, free trials or plan limits. It also does not explain how HIX AI handles the email, calendar and file data it can access, or how much human review the automated publishing needs. All claims about time savings come from the company, not independent testing.
What to do
Small teams curious about the tool should start with low-risk work, such as a draft internal report or a slide deck, before letting it post to public social accounts. Check what permissions each connection asks for and read the privacy terms at hix.ai first.
The takeawayHIX AI Workspace 2.0 is live for teams of up to five, but pricing and data handling are unclear, so test it on low-risk tasks first.
