Android Authority picked five upcoming phones it thinks are worth saving for, a useful list if you skipped upgrading this year and your current phone still works.
If you skipped buying a new phone this year, Android Authority has a message for you: hold on a little longer. The site published a list of five upcoming Android phones it thinks are worth saving for. Its pitch is simple. The future is looking bright, so waiting may pay off.
Android Authority is a tech news site that covers phones that run Google's Android software. Its article is aimed at people who passed on upgrading in 2026. The idea is that those buyers can plan ahead instead of rushing into a purchase.
The material available for this story does not name the five phones. It also does not give prices, release dates or features. Without those details, there is no way to say which phones made the list or how they compare. The original Android Authority article is the place to find the names.
This is most useful for people whose current phone still works fine. If that is you, there is no pressure to buy now. Saving money over the coming months could get you a better phone later.
If your phone still works, waiting and saving could get you a better phone later, but check the original list for the actual models.
