ElevenLabs, a company that makes AI audio tools, said on Thursday that people can now post songs made with its ElevenMusic platform directly to SoundCloud. The company also says users have made more than 25 million tracks with its music models so far.
What changed
Until now, a song made in ElevenMusic stayed inside ElevenMusic. Now a user can send it to SoundCloud without a separate upload step. SoundCloud's CEO, Eliah Seton, called SoundCloud the first platform to bring ElevenMusic creations to fans beyond ElevenLabs' own ecosystem.
ElevenLabs released its first music model in 2025. In April 2026 it launched a consumer app that makes songs from written prompts. A month later came a newer model that can switch genres mid-track and handle more complex vocals.
What SoundCloud artists get
ElevenLabs is giving SoundCloud Artist Pro members three months of ElevenMusic Pro. That plan includes:
- Up to 1,000 generated songs
- 500 splits of a song into stem files, which are its separate parts
- Five custom styles or vocals per month
How others are handling AI music
SoundCloud is leaning into AI tools for artists. Last month it partnered with Moises, an AI music tools company, so artists can move songs in and out of SoundCloud. It also works with Google Flow Music and the remix platform Hook.
Other services are more wary. Deezer is adding a toggle that hides AI music completely. Bandcamp has banned AI-generated tracks. Spotify and YouTube have taken a cautious approach to labeling. Spotify does work with ElevenLabs on audiobook narration, but it has not announced any AI music model partners.
What to watch
If you listen on SoundCloud, expect more AI-made songs over time. The announcement as reported does not say how SoundCloud will label them. If you want fewer AI tracks, Deezer's filter and Bandcamp's ban are the clearest options so far.
The takeawayAI songs are about to get easier to find on SoundCloud, so choose a streaming service whose AI policy matches what you want to hear.
