OpenAI has added real-time teamwork to ChatGPT Slides, its tool for building presentations inside ChatGPT. Several people can now work on the same deck at once and leave comments for each other. The new features are only for paid plans.
What it does
You start a deck by asking ChatGPT to "create ChatGPT slides" from a conversation or a file you have shared. With the update, you can share that deck, edit it together and discuss changes in comments. You can also ask ChatGPT, or OpenAI's AI agent called dot, to turn that feedback into updates.
You can also edit right on the slide. Click text to change it, update charts, and move or resize images and shapes. When the deck is done, present it inside ChatGPT or export it to PowerPoint or Google Slides.
Who gets it
The features are available on Pro, Business and Enterprise plans. The material does not say what those plans cost or whether free users will get the features later.
In a separate announcement, OpenAI said its latest models are better at working with older programming languages such as COBOL, Fortran and Visual Basic. Banks, governments and businesses still use them to run important systems.
The takeawayIf your team builds decks together, ChatGPT Slides can now handle the teamwork, but only on a Pro, Business or Enterprise plan.
