Zeplyn, a New York company that sells AI software to wealth management firms, announced a new tool called Zeplyn Workflows on Oct. 27, 2026. It lets a firm write down how it does its paperwork and have AI agents carry out those steps. If you work with a financial advisor, some of your setup work may soon be done this way.

What it does

The tool is aimed at behind-the-scenes work. Zeplyn names three examples: advisor transitions, client onboarding and account opening. The AI moves work between systems and departments, following the firm's own rules.

Each task keeps a record of who owns it, where it stands and what has happened so far. At points the firm chooses, the work stops until a designated person reviews it. Then it continues.

Zeplyn says its AI agents can read information and decide next steps, but only within set limits. Fixed rules handle things like checking data and updating systems.

What is not known yet

The announcement is from the company itself, and it does not say which firms use the tool, what it costs or when it is available. It also gives no results on accuracy or speed. Zeplyn says it works with more than 30 advisor systems, including Salesforce, Schwab Advisor Center, AdvisorEngine, Redtail and Wealthbox, and offers more than 50 AI agents built for wealth management.

Whether your own advisor uses a tool like this is a fair question to ask. So is who reviews the AI's work before it goes through.

The takeaway

Wealth firms are starting to hand paperwork to AI, so ask your advisor who checks the work before it is final.
